Revelation 20.1. Then I saw an angel descending from heaven, who had the key of the abyss and a large chain in his hand. 2. And he arrested the dragon, the old serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, then he bound him for a thousand years 3. and cast him into the abyss and shut and sealed the abyss above him, so that he could not deceive the heathens any longer until the thousand years would be completed. After these things it is necessary for him to be loosed for a short time.
