Noah’s wife. “Emmy”?

Genesis 6:18. “But with you I shall establish, ratify, My covenant and you will come into the box (ark), you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.

Noah’s wife and daughters-in-law; Noah’s wife had to have great patience and understanding while her husband and sons worked for about seventy-five years in building the giant box. Sometime during those years each of the sons got married so their wives had to also have great patience, not understanding what was coming. Living in the box for over a year certainly was a test for each one of those eight people.

editor’s note: Although the name of Noah’s wife is never given in scripture, tradition, from separate sources, names her “Naamah,” or “Emzara.”
