Luke 2:8. And shepherds were in this field, living out of doors and keeping watch by night over their flock. 9. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they feared a great fear. 10. Then the angel said to them, “You must not be afraid, for behold I have good news for you, great joy which will be for all the people, 11. because this day in the city of David a Savior was born for you, Who is Messiah, Lord. 12. And this will be a sign to you, you will find an infant wrapped and lying in a stall.” 13. Then suddenly there were with the angel a great number of the heavenly hosts praising God and saying, 14. “Glory to God in the highestand on Earth peace and good will among men.”
